He served as rabbi of Beth El Temple Center in Belmont, Massachusetts, for thirty-six years and was a past president of the Massachusetts Board of Rabbis.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eGrollman was born in Baltimore, Maryland, in 1925 and was ordained as a rabbi in 1950 after studying at Hebrew Union College and receiving a bachelor’s degree from the University of Cincinnati.
