Karen Casey

Karen Casey is the author of dozens of beloved books on recovery and spiritual growth. She began her own recovery journey in 1974, and in 1982 published her first book, Each Day a New Beginning, which became a bestseller in the then-new genre of daily meditations for women in recovery. It has sold over 3 million copies and has a devoted readership spanning more than four decades.

Her focus as a writer is spiritual growth and strengthening twelve-step recovery, drawing on her own experience and the wisdom of the many people she has met in AA and Al-Anon. Her books from Conari Press and TMA Press, imprints of Turner Publishing, include Each Day a New Beginning (40th Anniversary Edition), Let Go Now, 52 Ways to Live the Course in Miracles, Change Your Mind and Your Life Will Follow, and The Long Good Life.
