ANN KEMPNER FISHER is a literary editor and former television writer, and the author of B.O.O.B.S.: A Bunch of Outrageous Breast-Cancer Survivors Tell Their Stories of Courage, Hope, & Healing.

The book brings together the personal accounts of ten breast cancer survivors connected through The Wellness Community, a program offering free counseling to breast cancer patients and their loved ones. It was originally published in 2004 and later issued in a revised paperback edition in 2006.
