Anne Merritt

ANNE MERRITT is the author of Historic Photos of the Golden Gate Bridge.

Merritt has no listed awards; she was born and raised in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, the daughter of an engineer, and has lived in the San Francisco Bay Area since 1989.

When she’s not writing, Merritt draws on a lifelong familiarity with bridges, having grown up in a city known for spanning three rivers. That background informs her close engagement with the Golden Gate Bridge, which she sees regularly from her home in the Bay Area.

Anne lives in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Anne Merritt’s books are published by Turner Publishing.
