BARBARA BARTLEIN, RN, MSW, CSP, is a clinical psychotherapist and professional speaker who has provided couples counseling for more than 25 years. Her recent books include Marriage Makeover: Simple Ways to Revitalize Your Relationship...Without Your Spouse Even Knowing and Why Did I Marry You Anyway?: Overcoming the Myths That Hinder a Happy Marriage.

Bartlein holds the Certified Speaking Professional designation from the National Speakers Association and is past president of its Wisconsin chapter. She has been featured on CNN, NBC, FOX TV, and USA Today, and has contributed to four Chicken Soup for the Soul books.

When she’s not writing, Bartlein draws on her background as former Vice President of Columbia-St. Mary’s Hospital System and president of Great Lakes Consulting Group.

Barbara lives in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
