Barbara Notarius

BARBARA NOTARIUS is the founder and publicity director of Bed and Breakfast Reservations Worldwide, the only nonprofit trade association in the B&B industry, and co-author of all four editions of Open Your Own Bed & Breakfast.

Notarius has been recognized as one of America’s most widely respected B&B experts. She also operates the Alexander Hamilton House, her own bed and breakfast in Croton-on-Hudson, New York.

When she’s not writing, Notarius works as a lecturer and consultant on operating a bed and breakfast. Her book, co-authored with Gail Sforza Brewer, draws directly on that professional expertise.

Barbara lives in Croton-on-Hudson, New York.

Barbara Notarius’s books are published by Trade Paper Press, an imprint of Turner Publishing.
