Bardi McLennan

BARDI McLENNAN was a Connecticut-born author who spent more than six decades involved in the dog world, writing more than half a dozen books on dogs, puppies, and terrier breeds. Her books include The Welsh Terrier Leads the Way, Dogs and Kids: Parenting Tips and On Good Behavior.

McLennan received the 1991 Kal Kan Pedigree Award for outstanding journalism on pet care and earned multiple awards from the Dog Writers Association of America. For fifteen years she served as a contributing editor to Dog Fancy magazine, writing feature articles for the AKC Gazette and other canine publications.

McLennan was an active member of the Dog Writers Association of America from 1986 and lived in Newtown, Connecticut.
