Bob Tyson

BOB TYSON is a journeyman machinist and member of the Antique Motorcycle Club of America for more than 20 years. He is the author of Harley-Davidson Memories: The Golden Age of Motorcycling, which features a foreword by Jay Leno.

Tyson served as Deputy Judge for the Chesapeake Chapter of the AMCA for six years and has written articles for Antique Motorcycle Magazine and Easyriders Magazine. He was invited by Willie G. Davidson to exhibit at both the 90th and 100th Anniversaries of Harley-Davidson.

When he’s not writing, Tyson draws on nearly 40 years of motorcycling experience spanning fabrication and machining for choppers and customs, as well as restoration of antique machines. That hands-on knowledge shapes his writing on Harley-Davidson history.

Bob lives in New Windsor, Maryland, with his wife, Kathy, and son, Matthew.

Bob Tyson’s books are published by Turner Publishing.
