Brenda Goldstein

BRENDA GOLDSTEIN is a health care industry consultant and co-author of The Spa Less Traveled: Discovering Ethnic Los Angeles, One Massage at a Time, written with Gail Herndon.

Goldstein served as a board member of Homeless Health Care Los Angeles. She and Herndon, both health care professionals, spent five years visiting Thai, Korean, Chinese, Russian, Japanese, Indian, and Hawaiian spas across Southern California to research the book.

When she’s not writing, Goldstein draws on experience as a former Peace Corps volunteer in Honduras. A portion of sales from The Spa Less Traveled benefited the Coalition to Abolish Slavery and Trafficking.

Brenda lives in Pasadena.
