Catherine Moy

CATHERINE MOY is a journalist, public official, and co-author of American Mourning alongside Melanie Morgan.

Moy earned a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication and Journalism from Hayward State College and received awards from local, state, and national newspaper associations.

Beyond writing, Moy held editorial and reporting roles at the Daily Republic in Fairfield and was appointed to the Fairfield City Council in 2008 before being elected Mayor in 2022.

Catherine lives in Fairfield, California.
