CHERYL K. SMITH is a dog trainer, dog sports competitor, and global lecturer, and the author of Grab Life by the Leash: A Guide to Bringing Up and Bonding with Your Four-Legged Friend and The Rosetta Bone: The Key to Communication Between Canines and Humans.

Smith’s book The Rosetta Bone received the Dog Writers Association of America’s Best Training Publication and Best Book of the Year awards.

When she’s not writing, Smith competes in dog sports and lectures internationally. She has also appeared with her dogs on HGTV’s Gardening by the Yard and hosted her own radio show.
