About the author
CINDY CRANDALL-FRAZIER is an educator, member of the Religious Society of Friends (Quaker), and the author of three books on craft and handwork. Her books include Single Crochet for Beginners, Sock Doll Workshop: 30 Delightful Dolls to Create and Cherish, and Contemplative Crochet: A Hands-On Guide for Interlocking Faith & Craft.
Crandall-Frazier holds a Montessori preschool certificate and has taught in a Waldorf kindergarten, in addition to homeschooling her own child.
When she’s not writing, Crandall-Frazier spins, knits, crochets, and teaches those skills to others, with a particular interest in developing children’s fine motor skills through purposeful handwork activities. This focus on handwork as a meaningful practice runs directly through her published work.
