DAVID OLIVE is the author of multiple books, including the bestsellers Political Babble and Canadian Political Babble, and No Guts, No Glory: How Canada’s Greatest CEOs Built Their Empires.

Olive’s articles have won eleven awards and honourable mentions from the National Magazine Awards, National Journalism Awards, and National Business Writing Awards. No Guts, No Glory was a finalist for the National Business Book Awards. He has served as editor-in-chief of Report on Business Magazine, business columnist at the Toronto Star, and senior writer at the Financial Post, Globe and Mail, and National Post.

When he’s not writing, Olive lectures in journalism and speaks frequently on corporate leadership, economics, and business ethics. These same subjects run throughout his books on business and Canadian public life.
