Ellen Rendle

ELLEN RENDLE has served as Curator of Maps and Photographs at the Delaware Historical Society since 1986. Her recent books include New Castle County, Remembering Delaware and Historic Photos of Delaware.

Rendle holds a bachelor of arts degree from Augustana College in Rock Island, Illinois, and a master’s degree in American history from the University of Delaware. She is also the author of Delaware in Vintage Postcards and several titles for Cedar Tree Books, including Judy Johnson: Delaware’s Invisible Hero and The Ghosts of Market Street.

Ellen lives in Brandywine Hundred with her husband, John.
