Frank Indiviglio

FRANK INDIVIGLIO is a biologist, herpetologist, zoologist, and environmental lawyer with over 20 years of zoo experience. He is the author of books on salamanders, geckos, and seahorses.

Indiviglio holds a Master’s degree in biology and has taught biology and natural history at Science Development, Inc., and Columbia Preparatory School in Manhattan. His field research in Latin America, covering animals from anacondas to leatherback turtles, was supported by the Wildlife Conservation Society and the National Geographic Society.

When he’s not writing, Indiviglio works as a zoological park consultant and contributes magazine articles on the captive care and natural history of invertebrates, fishes, amphibians, reptiles, birds, and mammals. This breadth of hands-on experience with animals underpins his writing across those same subjects.

Frank lives in New York.

Frank Indiviglio’s books are published by Howell Book House, an imprint of Turner Publishing.
