My Demon Exchange Student

Get ready for Hot Demon Summer with Gabriella Gyllenhoff’s spectacular debut in which a demon and a valedictorian reluctantly team up to solve a sinister mystery.

Twenty-two-year-old demon Mazidein is banished from the Under Realms (without clothes) to retrieve an escaped hellhound from a college town in Virginia. Fail this mission, and the Court of Hell will smite him where he stands. It’s NAKED AND AFRAID: DEMON EDITION.

Meanwhile, twenty-one-year-old psychology major Hannah Thomas’s scholarship hinges on the success of a foreign exchange student program. But when Hannah mistakes Maz for a missing Italian student and enrolls him in her college’s exchange program, he’s more than happy to take advantage of her kindness.

A misunderstanding becomes blackmail when Hannah uncovers Maz’s deception and he threatens to tell everyone she enrolled a demon. She acquiesces to help Maz catch the hellhound and protect her opportunity for a better future. But when they track down the dying beast and discover students drained of their souls, they realize a more sinister creature stalks the campus, and the Court of Hell demands the mystery demon in the hellhound’s place.

A begrudging partnership heats into sizzling tension as the valedictorian and demon take on flesh-eating fraternity brothers, a possessed football stadium, and a sinister science experiment to save her school—and his life. Using Hannah as demon-bait would make Maz’s mission easier, and turning Maz over to the mystical and human authorities would solve Hannah’s problems. Yet as the stakes rise, so do the sparks between them, and soon the pair can’t keep malevolent spirits—or their hands—off of each other.
