HUBERTA WIERTSEMA is the author of 101 Movement Games for Children: Fun and Learning with Playful Moving, published in English translation in 2002. A German-language edition, 100 Bewegungsspiele Für Unterricht und Jugendarbeit, was published by Kallmeyer in 1998.

The book presents noncompetitive movement games organized into categories including touch and reaction, concentration, cooperation, and music and movement, designed to cultivate children’s social and creative abilities.
