HUGH SEBAG-MONTEFIORE is a British writer and historian and the author of three bestselling history books. His recent books include Somme: Into the Breach, Dunkirk: Fight to the Last Man and Enigma: The Battle for the Code.
Sebag-Montefiore trained as a barrister before becoming a journalist. He has written for the Sunday Times, Sunday Telegraph, Observer, Independent on Sunday and Mail on Sunday.
When not writing, Sebag-Montefiore draws on family connections that reach directly into his subjects: Bletchley Park, central to Enigma, was formerly owned by his great-great-grandfather, Sir Herbert Leon.
Hugh Sebag-Montefiore’s books are published by Trade Paper Press, an imprint of Turner Publishing.
