Ian E. Brighthope

IAN E. BRIGHTHOPE, M.D., is an Australian medical doctor and professor with over 26 years as founding president of the Australasian College of Nutritional and Environmental Medicine. His books include The Vitamin Cure for Diabetes and The AIDS Fighters.

Brighthope received his medical degree from the University of New South Wales and completed his clinical studies at Monash University in Victoria. He is a founding director of the Orthomolecular Medical Association of Australia and pioneered the first postgraduate medical course in nutrition in Australia.

When not writing, Brighthope practices nutritional and environmental medicine and consults for nutritional supplement companies. His five published books reflect his extensive work on the use of nutrition in the treatment of human diseases.
