About the author
JACQUELINE O'NEIL is the author of more than a dozen books and several hundred magazine articles on animal care and training. Her books include All About Agility, The Ultimate American Pit Bull Terrier, and Second Start: Creative Rehoming for Dogs.
O'Neil is a graduate of the University of Florida and served as the Performance columnist for the AKC Gazette. She is a member of the Outdoor Writers Association of America, the National League of American Pen Women, and the Dog Writers Association of America, where she served two terms as a director.
When she’s not writing, O'Neil is an active dog breeder and trainer who has shown her own dogs to top awards in conformation and obedience competition.
Jacqueline and her husband, Tom, a wildlife photographer, travel North America in a motor home.
