Jean M. Fogle

JEAN M. FOGLE was a freelance writer and photographer who specialized in dogs and nature, and the author of two books: Tricks for Treats and Salty Dogs.

Fogle won the 2011 Maxwell National Merit Award for Tricks for Treats. She was a member of the Dog Writers Association of America, and her articles appeared in Woman’s Day, Dog Fancy, and Popular Dogs.

When she was not writing, Fogle worked as a photographer, with her images appearing in numerous calendars. Her books drew directly on this passion, showcasing her dog photography alongside practical and playful subject matter.
