Jeffrey Dover

JEFFREY DOVER is a dermatologist who has authored over 550 scientific publications and co-authored and edited over 55 textbooks. His books for general readers include The Youth Equation, the Encyclopedia of Skin and Skin Disorders and Skin Deep: An A-Z of Skin Disorders, Treatments and Health.

Dover holds appointments as Associate Professor of Clinical Dermatology at Yale University School of Medicine and Associate Professor of Dermatology at Brown Medical School. He graduated Magna cum Laude with a medical degree from the University of Ottawa and completed dermatology training at the University of Toronto. He is the founding editor of Journal Watch for Dermatology.

When he’s not writing, Dover co-directs SkinCare Physicians of Chestnut Hill, a facility specializing in dermatology, laser, and cosmetic surgery. His books draw directly on this clinical expertise.

Jeffrey lives in the Boston area.
