Joanna Figueroa

JOANNA FIGUEROA is the founder of Fig Tree & Co. and a fabric and pattern designer who has produced more than forty fabric collections for Moda Fabrics since 2004. Her books include Fig Tree Quilts: Fresh Vintage Sewing and With Fabric and Thread: More Than 20 Inspired Quilting and Sewing Patterns.

Figueroa holds a prominent position in the quilting industry through Fig Tree & Co., which produces fabric collections, quilt patterns, and Block of the Month programs. She previously operated her design business under the name Figlets.

When she’s not designing, Figueroa teaches quilting and sewing, work that feeds directly into her pattern and fabric collections, which reflect her hands-on approach to the craft.

Joanna lives in the San Francisco Bay Area.
