John McQuiston

JOHN McQUISTON II is an attorney and the author of several spirituality books, including the best-selling Always We Begin Again: The Benedictine Way of Living. His recent books include Christianity Without Superstition: Meaning, Metaphor, and Mystery, A Prayer Book for the Twenty-First Century, and Finding Time for the Timeless: Spirituality in the Workweek.

McQuiston studied at Vanderbilt Law School and has maintained a busy commercial legal practice alongside his writing.

When not writing, McQuiston serves as an active lay leader in his congregation. His work draws on Benedictine tradition and Christian spirituality, interpreting ancient practices for contemporary readers.

John lives in Memphis, Tennessee.
