Jon C. Malinowski

JON C. MALINOWSKI is a Professor of Geography at the United States Military Academy, West Point, and the author of The West Point Landscape: 1802–1860.

Malinowski holds a B.S.F.S. from the School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University, and an M.A. and Ph.D. in Geography from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He has taught at West Point since 1995 and has co-authored and edited numerous books, including a biography of Sylvanus Thayer.

Jon was raised in Springfield, Vermont.
