Katrina Berne

KATRINA BERNE, Ph.D., is a licensed clinical psychologist who has specialized in the treatment of chronic fatigue syndrome (ME/CFS), fibromyalgia syndrome, and related disorders for over two decades. Her books include Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, Fibromyalgia, and Other Invisible Illnesses: The Comprehensive Guide and Running On Empty: The Complete Guide to Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFIDS).

Berne holds a doctoral degree and is widely published in the field. She has taught college courses and spoken at local and national seminars, workshops, and support groups for people with CFS and fibromyalgia.

When she’s not writing, Berne draws on her own experience of living with CFS since 1985 and secondary fibromyalgia. That lived experience directly informs her work supporting and educating those with chronic invisible illnesses.

Katrina Berne’s books are published by Hunter House, an imprint of Turner Publishing.
