LARRY GUEST spent 28 years as the syndicated lead sports columnist for the Orlando Sentinel before retiring in 2000. His books include The Payne Stewart Story, Arnie: Inside the Legend, and Confessions of a Coach, co-written with NCAA champion coach Norm Sloan.

Guest was voted Florida Sports Writer of the Year three times by his peers, and the Washington Journalism Review listed him among the top 25 sportswriters in the nation.

When not writing, Guest covered 25 Masters Tournaments, multiple U.S. and British Opens, and several Olympics during his tenure at the Sentinel, experience that grounds the sports narratives running through his books.
