Laurie Jacobson

LAURIE JACOBSON is an American author and Hollywood historian whose books include TV Dinners, Dishing Hollywood and Timmy’s in the Well: The Jon Provost Story.

In 2017, the Southern California Motion Picture Council presented Jacobson with a Lifetime Achievement Award for literary contributions to the entertainment industry.

When she’s not writing, Jacobson has written and produced documentaries, television series, and specials. Her books draw on her deep engagement with Hollywood history, a subject she established as her focus with her debut, Hollywood Heartbreak.

Laurie lives in Northern California with her husband, actor Jon Provost.
