Lenny Flank

LENNY FLANK, JR. has kept more than 100 species of reptiles over more than twenty-five years and is the author of five books on reptiles, amphibians, and invertebrates. His recent books include Beginner’s Guide to Keeping Venomous Snakes, Snakes: Their Care and Keeping and Turtle: Your Happy Healthy Pet.

Flank’s work has appeared in Reptiles Magazine and Reptile and Amphibian Hobbyist magazine, and he runs the Hidden History blog.

When he’s not writing about herpetology, Flank writes on history, social activism, and the intelligent design controversy. These wide-ranging interests inform his broader work as a freelance writer.

Lenny lives in Florida.
