Linda B. Schultz

LINDA B. SCHULTZ is a veterinarian with over fourteen years of experience in equine medicine, veterinary dermatology, and lab animal medicine and surgery. She is the author of Howell Equine Handbook of Tendon and Ligament Injuries.

Schultz holds a D.V.M. and a Ph.D. and was formerly the owner-operator of an equine medicine and surgery practice. Her writing includes academic publications in scientific journals as well as articles on pets and families.

When she’s not writing, Schultz continues her work in veterinary medicine, drawing on direct clinical experience with horses. Her book is a plain-language medical guide written specifically for horse owners and trainers.
