LLOYD ALLEN is a writer, producer, and veteran of the fashion industry and early music video era, with credits spanning MTV and VH1. He is the author of Being Martha: The Inside Story of Martha Stewart and Her Amazing Life.

Allen’s book draws on hundreds of hours of exclusive interviews with Martha Stewart, her family, and her colleagues, offering an insider account built on his longstanding personal relationships with Stewart and her daughter Alexis.

When not writing, Allen works in Internet entertainment, a field he was actively developing alongside his publishing career. His work reflects deep access to the worlds of media, celebrity, and domestic entrepreneurship.
