Marianne Meyerhoff

MARIANNE MEYERHOFF is a writer, director, and producer of television and feature films, and the author of Four Girls from Berlin: A True Story of a Friendship That Defied the Holocaust, her debut book.

Meyerhoff served as one of the interviewers on Steven Spielberg’s Survivors of the Shoah oral history project.

When she’s not writing, Meyerhoff draws on her work in film and television and her research into her own family’s Holocaust history. Four Girls from Berlin recounts how her mother, Lotte Meyerhoff, a German Jew who survived the Holocaust, was reunited after the war with family keepsakes her three non-Jewish Berlin friends had risked their lives to preserve.

Marianne lives in Los Angeles.

Marianne Meyerhoff’s books are published by Trade Paper Press, an imprint of Turner Publishing.
