Marie LeBaron

MARIE LEBARON is the founder and managing editor of Make and Takes (makeandtakes.com), a parenting and crafts blog, and the author of Make and Takes for Kids: 50 Crafts Throughout the Year.

LeBaron holds a degree in Early Childhood and Elementary Education and taught kindergarten for several years before launching her blog. She has contributed content to Martha Stewart, PBS Parents, Seattle’s Child Magazine, and Creative Child Magazine, and is listed among Nielsen’s Power Mom 50.

When she’s not writing, LeBaron draws on her background in early childhood development to create craft projects accessible to young children. That foundation in child development shapes the practical, age-aware approach running throughout her work.

Marie lives in Seattle with her three children.
