Mary C. Boys

MARY C. BOYS is the Skinner and McAlpin Professor of Practical Theology at Union Theological Seminary in New York City, a position she has held since 1994. Her recent books include Christians and Jews in Dialogue: Learning in the Presence of the Other, Has God Only One Blessing? Judaism as a Source of Christian Self-Understanding, and Jewish-Christian Dialogue: One Woman’s Experience.

Boys holds honorary doctorates from Gratz College, the Jewish Theological Seminary of America, Catholic Theological Union, and Hebrew Union College–Jewish Institute of Religion. She is also an adjunct faculty member of the Jewish Theological Seminary of America and previously taught for seventeen years at Boston College.

Mary lives in New York City.
