Mary E. Sweeney

MARY E. SWEENEY is the author of more than a dozen aquarium hobby books, including 101 Best Aquarium Plants, The Cichlid: An Owner’s Guide to a Happy Healthy Fish, and The Guide to Owning Discus.

Sweeney’s titles have been published by houses including TFH Publications and Howell Book House, and her work spans fish-keeping guides and Look-and-Learn fish series.

When she’s not writing, Sweeney lectures frequently about the aquarium hobby. Her books reflect that same hands-on expertise, covering topics from cichlids to aquarium plants.
