Mary Mitchell

MARY MITCHELL is the founder of Uncommon Courtesies, a consulting firm specializing in personal interaction skills, and president of The Mitchell Organization, a training and consulting company. She has written nine books, including The First Five Minutes, Dear Ms. Demeanor: The Young Person’s Etiquette Guide and Class Acts.

Mitchell’s syndicated column "Ms. Demeanor" originated in the Philadelphia Inquirer, where it ran twice weekly for ten years, before being nationally syndicated by King Features. She has been frequently quoted in nationally circulated magazines as an etiquette authority.

Mary lives in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
