Montgomery Bell Academy

MONTGOMERY BELL ACADEMY is a private, all-male college-preparatory day school founded in 1867 and serving students in grades 7 through 12 in Nashville, Tennessee. The school is the author of From the Hill to the Horizon: Montgomery Bell Academy 1867–2017, produced to mark its 150th anniversary.

The volume draws on the perspectives of students, alumni, teachers, and headmasters to chronicle the school’s history. The institution takes its name from early Tennessee ironmaster Montgomery Bell, whose estate endowed its establishment as part of the University of Nashville.

Montgomery Bell Academy’s books are published by Turner Publishing.
