Nicki Pendleton Wood

NICKI PENDLETON WOOD is an author, editor, journalist, and food writer who has authored, ghost-written, or edited dozens of cookbooks. Her books include Southern Cooking for Company, The All-New Square Foot Gardening Cookbook and Jeff Foxworthy’s The Redneck Grill.

Wood holds the CCP certification from the International Association of Culinary Professionals and served as food editor and restaurant reviewer at the Nashville Banner. She has also written for the Nashville Scene, Wall Street Journal, Fine Cooking, and Relish.

When she’s not writing, Wood works as a credentialed mammographer and has taught journalism and edited cookbooks in Cambridge, England.

Nicki lives in Nashville.
