Pamela J. Haylock

PAMELA J. HAYLOCK is an oncology nurse and cancer survivorship consultant with more than 120 published professional articles, book chapters, and books.

Haylock served as president of the Oncology Nursing Society from 1997 to 1998 and holds a B.S.N. and M.A. from the University of Iowa’s College of Nursing and a PhD from the University of Texas Medical Branch. She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Nursing and a core development team member of the National Coalition for Cancer Survivorship’s award-winning Cancer Survival Toolbox.

When she’s not writing, Haylock draws on decades of staff, management, teaching, and consultation roles in oncology care. That experience grounds her work in the practical realities of cancer survivorship.

Pamela lives in Kerrville, Texas.
