PAMELA JAYNE (also credited as Pamela Wiseman) is a lecturer, trainer, and author who has directed a private agency specializing in domestic violence since 1989. She is the author of Ditch That Jerk: Dealing with Men Who Control and Hurt Women.
Jayne holds degrees in psychology and communication from the University of Michigan. She has led educational groups for abusive men for nearly ten years, chaired a program developing state standards for abuser programs, and has appeared on The Montel Williams Show and the Deborah Duncan Show, as well as serving as a commentator on women’s issues for Public Radio.
When she’s not writing, Jayne trains counselors and works directly with both victims and perpetrators of domestic abuse. Her work in this field shapes her writing on relationships defined by control and harm.
