Patty Young

PATTY YOUNG is a licensed textile designer, co-owner and Lead Designer of MODKID LLC, a company specializing in boutique-style sewing patterns for children’s clothing, doll outfits, purses, and accessories. She is the author of multiple sewing books and coloring books.

Young holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design and Photography from the University of Central Florida, where she studied from 1989 to 1993. Her designs have appeared in national and international publications, and she has designed fabric collections for Michael Miller Fabrics and Riley Blake Designs.

Patty lives in Illinois.
