About the author
PETER ISLER is a two-time America’s Cup winner and the author of several books, including Peter Isler’s Little Blue Book of Sailing Secrets, At the Helm: Business Lessons for Navigating Rough Waters, and Sailing for Dummies.
Isler was named Collegiate Sailor of the Year for North America during his time at Yale University. He has served on two Emmy Award–winning broadcast teams covering America’s Cups for ESPN, ABC, NBC Sports, and other networks.
When he’s not writing, Isler competes at the highest levels of sailing, with world championship titles and line honors in the Newport-Bermuda Race, the Transpac, and the Transatlantic Race. That experience on the water anchors his books on sailing and leadership.
Peter lives in San Diego, California.
