RICHARD COURTNEY is a real estate broker with more than 35 years of practice in Nashville and the author of Buyers Are Liars & Sellers Are Too! The Truth About Buying or Selling Your Home, Come Together: The Business Wisdom of the Beatles and Buyers Are Liars & Sellers Are Too! His recent books include Come Together: The Business Wisdom of the Beatles and Buyers Are Liars & Sellers Are Too! The Truth About Buying or Selling Your Home.

Courtney is a past president of the Greater Nashville Association of Realtors and has served on the boards of national, state, and local Realtor associations. He is an alumnus of the University of the South (1977) and a contributing writer to Donald Trump’s The Best Real Estate Advice I Ever Received.

When he’s not writing, Courtney works as a principal at Christianson Patterson Courtney & Associates and has served as the weekly real estate columnist for the Nashville Ledger and a contributing writer for the Nashville Business Journal.

Richard lives in Nashville, Tennessee.
