Roberta M. Gilbert

ROBERTA M. GILBERT, M.D., is a psychiatrist and the author of five books applying Bowen family systems theory to individuals, families, and organizations. Her recent books include The Cornerstone Concept: In Leadership, In Life, Extraordinary Leadership: Thinking Systems, Making a Difference and The Eight Concepts of Bowen Theory.

Gilbert is a life fellow of the American Psychiatric Association and serves as founding director of the Center for the Study of Human Systems. She is also on the faculty of the Bowen Center for the Study of the Family.

Roberta lives in Pompano Beach, FL.
