Ronald L. Hoffman

RONALD L. HOFFMAN, M.D., is a physician with more than thirty-five years in integrative medicine practice in New York City. His books include Intelligent Medicine, How to Talk with Your Doctor and Natural Cures That Really Work.

Hoffman is a Fellow of the American College for Advancement in Medicine and the American Academy of Environmental Medicine, a Certified Nutrition Specialist, and a past President of the American College for Advancement in Medicine. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Columbia College and an M.D. from Albert Einstein College of Medicine, with training in Internal Medicine at the Manhattan V.A. Hospital.

When not writing, Hoffman hosts the nationally syndicated radio program and podcast Intelligent Medicine and serves as founder and Medical Director of the Hoffman Center, established in Manhattan in 1985 as one of New York City’s first comprehensive complementary medicine practices.

Ronald lives in New York City.
