Scott Britz-Cunningham

SCOTT BRITZ-CUNNINGHAM is a board-certified nuclear medicine physician with academic appointments at the University of Massachusetts and Harvard Medical School, and the author of three novels. His recent books include The Immortalist and Code White.

Britz-Cunningham holds an MD and a PhD and completed postgraduate training in anatomic pathology at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston. His scientific articles have appeared in The New England Journal of Medicine, The Journal of Nuclear Medicine, Cancer, and The Journal of Virology.

When he’s not writing, Britz-Cunningham performs with the New England Digital Accordion Orchestra and practices Shotokan karate.

Scott lives in Worcester, Massachusetts, with his wife, Evelyn, an artist and art therapist.
