Scott Faragher

SCOTT FARAGHER is a former music industry executive and the author of more than 15 books. His recent books include Nashville: Gateway to the South and Music City Babylon.

Faragher began his career as a talent agent in 1973 with the Nova Agency, later holding agent and executive roles at the Lavender-Blake Agency and Dick Blake International before serving as president of In Concert International. He subsequently founded his own imprint, Deathcat Media.

When he’s not writing, Faragher draws on decades representing and managing artists including Jerry Lee Lewis, Waylon Jennings, James Brown, Fats Domino, and Billy Ray Cyrus. That career in country music and the broader music industry forms the backbone of much of his work.

Scott Faragher’s books are published by Cumberland House Publishing, an imprint of Turner Publishing.
