Sheldon H. Cherry

SHELDON H. CHERRY, M.D., is an obstetrician and gynecologist whose book Understanding Pregnancy and Childbirth, a Book-of-the-Month Club selection, sold over one million copies across four editions. His books include Planning Ahead for Pregnancy, For Women of All Ages and The Menopause Myth.

Named by New York magazine as one of "The Best Doctors in New York" in 1991, Cherry served as Attending Obstetrician and Gynecologist at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York and as Clinical Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine. He is board-certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and is a member of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology and the New York Obstetrical Society.
