Shelly Figueroa

SHELLY FIGUEROA is a sewing designer and creator of Figgy’s Patterns, a children’s clothing pattern line found in shops around the world. Her books include Ms. Figgy’s Garment School for Girls and Sewing for Boys: 24 Projects to Create a Handmade Wardrobe, the latter co-authored with Karen LePage.

Figueroa has been featured on FOX12 Good Day Oregon, KATU AM Northwest, and in the Oregonian newspaper.

When she’s not writing, Figueroa teaches sewing to the next generation of sewists. Her work as a designer and author centers on handmade clothing for children.

Shelly lives in Portland, Oregon, with her husband and two boys.
