Stephen McDowell

STEPHEN McDOWELL is the co-founder and president of the Providence Foundation, a nonprofit Christian educational organization he has led for over 40 years, and the author of more than 30 books, videos, and training courses, including America’s Providential History and Liberating the Nations. His books and writings have been translated into 18 languages and distributed to more than one million people.

McDowell holds a master’s degree in geophysics and has served as an adjunct professor at Regent University.

When not writing, McDowell draws on years of experience as a pastor and Christian educator to lead the Providence Foundation, based in Charlottesville, Virginia. That work in Christian education and ministry informs the biblical and historical themes running through his books.

Stephen lives in Charlottesville, Virginia, with his wife.
